John Steinbeck always makes it a spot to learn about his subjects first

Therefore, most of his novels happen in California, the website of his birth

and young life. In preparation for posting his novels, Steinbeck would often

travel with people about whom he would create. The Grapes of Wrath was no

exception to his other works. To get ready for it, he became a member of migrants in Oklahoma

and rode with them to California. When he surely got to California, he resided with them,

joining them in their quest for job. By publishing these experience and

trials of the migrants he achieved an impact that gained him the Nobel Prize for

literature in 1962. The publishing of The Grapes of Wrath coincided with the Great

Depression. This period of hardship and struggle for the others of America gave

Steinbeck inspiration for his job. Other peoples' tales of everyday life

became issues for Steinbeck. His writings spoke out against those who
